Thoughtful Thursday (Sustainability Focused)

Thoughtful Thursdays will ask TU Freedom Square’s Question of the Week to students in a more interactive way through {http://www.TUFreedomSquare.com and in-person}. This will enable diverse groups of students to share their specific understanding of the week’s question. In honor of Earth Day this week?s question will focus on sustainability!
Recycled Art Competition
April 16 ? April 19, University Union
Put those recyclables to good use! Create an art piece made almost entirely out of recycled materials to be displayed the week of April 16 in the Union. Students are encouraged to vote on their favorite piece, with the winner being announced at the 4th annual environmental conference on April 23.

Recycling Drop Off Day
Wednesday, April 25, 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Drop off all of your recyclables, including hard-to-recycle items such as batteries and electronics, to the grassy area between Lot 11 and the Union Garage.
Farmer?s Market
Wednesday, May 2, 10 a.m. ? 3 p.m. Potomac Patio/Potomac Lounge
Come out to the Union and purchase some locally grown, organic produce. Among the vendors will be TU Urban Farm, who grow their produce right here on campus!
