The Office of Human Resources will be offering several Financial Awareness Sessions this semester for the benefit of all faculty and staff members. These programs, which have been offered at other USM institutions, are coordinated by Merrill Lynch and will feature experienced speakers offering their expertise and guidance on financial topics at no cost or obligation to participants.
The first topic in the series, Long Term Care: Facing the Future with Confidence, will be offered on Monday, March 5 from noon to 1 p.m. in Room 120 of the Administration building. Topics of discussion will include:
? Understanding Long Term Care (LTC)
? Getting more for your LTC dollar
? Opportunity of tax advantages
? Preparing for the unexpected
Plan on attending this ?lunch and learn? session to learn more about whether or not LTC is right for you especially before the upcoming Open Enrollment period when the State of Maryland will again be offering LTC coverage to all eligible employees.
