The following downtimes will occur January 22 during the Office of Technology Services’ Sunday maintenance window:
NEW! ALL TU NETWORK SERVICES SPORADICALLY UNAVAILABLE, 7-10 A.M.
Web services affected include:
– Internet
– Blackboard
– e-mail
– Peoplesoft
– Tiger
– Virtual Private Network (VPN)
– Pylon
– Remote Access Server (RAS)
– Citrix
This intermittent outage is necessary for OTS to upgrade the campus data network to provide better security and performance.
REALAUDIO SERVER OFFLINE, 8 A.M.-NOON
OTS will upgrade the RealAudio server’s hardware for better stability and to facilitate growth. The downtime will affect all faculty who host Real Media on the OTS-operated Real server, as well as any listeners of the WTMD radio station RealAudio stream.
