The following message is posted on behalf of Interim Vice President for Administration and Finance and CFO Alan M. Leberknight:
I am pleased to announce, effective immediately, the appointment of Dr. Craig W. Bowen as Assistant Vice President for Financial and Procurement Services, within the Administration & Finance Division. In addition to his new duties, Craig will continue to provide special project and other support to my office as he has in the past. Craig has a unique blend of knowledge, skills and experience that will enable him to successfully meet the diverse requirements of his new position. For now, the University Budget Office will continue to report to me.
Dr. Bowen has worked at Towson University for the past four years, first in the Provost’s Office, where he was a Senior Research Analyst in Institutional Research, and most recently as the Assistant to the Vice President for Administration & Finance. In addition, he is familiar with a broad range of academic endeavors from his experience as a faculty member in chemistry at the Naval Academy and Clemson University prior to moving into his administrative positions at Towson. During his tenure here he also completed an M.B.A. at Johns Hopkins University.
