When it comes to campus computing services and resources, what most students don’t know is a lot. Why not start (or reinvigorate) your academic career by learning about the technology tools and services at your disposal? Focus first on the big picture of campus computing, then zoom-in on the specific systems you will use to communicate, complete course work, register for classes, avoid heart-breaking data loss and expose the creative genius inside! The following technology training workshops are available next week:
PowerStart! Campus Computing Orientation
Tuesday, Aug. 30: 1-3 p.m.
Wednesday, Aug. 31: 2-4 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 3: 9-11 a.m.
Wednesday, Sept. 7: 7-9 p.m.
To register for these and other workshops go to {http://www.towson.edu/otstraining}. All workshops are held in Cook Library, room 3, unless otherwise noted on the Web page. Also, look for self-help training documents as an alternative to workshops by clicking on the Documents link.
