OTS Training has partnered with the Towson University Staff Council and the Reference Department of Cook Library to offer a unique development opportunity highlighting the many and varied resources of our campus library. Together with our reference librarians you will explore easy-to-use resources and services to quickly connect you with the information you need.
You will learn to:
* Research government, business and health data
* Access research tools “free” to Towson staff via the Internet (including journals, magazines, newspapers, e-books)
* Access these subscriber-only resources from your office or home
* Request local delivery of resources from any University of Maryland System library
* Request private meetings with a librarian to discuss your specific research needs
The workshop will be offered twice:
Tuesday, July 12
10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Wednesday, July 13
1-3:30 p.m.
To register for these and other workshops offered through August go to {http://www.towson.edu/otstraining}. All workshops are held in Cook Library, room 3, unless otherwise noted on the Web page. Also, look for self-help training documents as an alternative to workshops by clicking on the Documents link.
