Interested in Learning More About Wireless Computing at Towson?

Office of Technology Services Training offers an orientation to wireless computing at Towson University. Three workshops dates remain for spring 2005:

Tuesday, April 5: 10 a.m.-noon, Cook Library, room 3
Thursday, May 19: 9-11 a.m., Cook Library, room 3
Friday, June 3: 9-11 a.m., Cook Library, room 3

Learn how to use Towson Unplugged to access Internet resources and many of Towson?s online services from almost anywhere on campus! Topics covered include:

– accessing the wireless network
– benefits and limits of the wireless network
– hardware requirements and configuration for your laptop or PDA

The workshop provides an opportunity for you to use your own wireless device.
