The Towson University Police Department will hold their monthly Police Community Relations (PCR) meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 1 at 1:30 p.m. on the third floor of the University Union, room 315. The meeting usually lasts for approximately one hour.
The topic for this month?s meeting is ?Safe Shopping Tips.” Towson University Police Officers will discuss personal safety tips that you can use while shopping during one of the busiest times of the year.
Officers will present information that will possibly keep you from becoming a crime victim during this holiday season. Remember, when you are shopping you are concentrating on your purchases and your awareness level may not be as concentrated as usual. Unfortunately, while you are shopping there are criminals who will be shopping for their next victim.
The PCR Meeting is an open forum for students and faculty/staff members to discuss any security and safety concerns with the officers assigned to the Community Crime Reduction Unit of the Towson University Police Department. Light refreshments will be available at the meeting.
As an added holiday bonus, everyone who attends the meeting will be eligible to win a tote bag and other prizes. The prizes are courtesy of Towsontown Center located on Dulaney Valley Road.
