USPS to Process Passports On Campus Wednesday, Dec. 8

The United States Postal Service (USPS) will be on campus Wednesday, Dec. 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to take and process passports. A table will be set up in the University Union, on the first floor, outside of PAWS, where applications will be available and photos will be taken.

A passport for an individual under 16 years of age is valid for five years. Other passports are valid for 10 years. You can prepare for getting your passport ahead of time by filling out an application and getting your own passport photo. Applications will be available at the University Post Office or can be conveniently obtained online at {http://www.travel.state.gov}.

The following fees are applicable:
* Passport Fee = $55.00
* USPS processing fee = $30.00
* Camera Photo = $15.00

Fees must be paid by check, cash or money order. Sorry, credit cards and OneCards will not be accepted. Money orders may be purchased at the University Post Office for $.90.
