All campus network resources will be down from 6 a.m. to noon, Sunday, July 25 as work continues for the university?s network upgrade project.
Affected network resources include:
o Internet
o Web services ? World Wide Web, Saber, Pages, WWWNew
o E-mail ? Exchange and Tiger
o PeopleSoft
o Remote access (dial-up) services, including Citrix
o H: and O: drives
By noon, the services listed will be back in place and available for use. From noon to midnight, several additional network services will be sporadically unavailable.
OTS? Sunday maintenance window, which normally lasts from 6 a.m. to noon, was expanded to midnight so that OTS could prepare for Cook Library?s portion of the network upgrade on Monday, July 26 and Tuesday, July 27. Preparations include installing new Cisco equipment, rewiring network connections and moving existing equipment to new locations.
