Police Community Relations Meeting – Sexual Assault Awareness

The Towson University Police Department (TUPD) will hold its monthly Police Community Relations (PCR) meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2006, at 1:30 p.m. on the third floor of the University Union, room 315. The meeting usually lasts for approximately one hour.

This month?s meeting will focus on sexual assault awareness. Detectives will discuss safety measures to help prevent individuals from becoming victims of sexual assault. They will also discuss the proper procedures to follow to report sexual assaults to the police.

The PCR Meeting is an open forum for students and faculty/staff members to discuss any security and safety concerns with the officers assigned to the Community Crime Reduction Unit of the Towson University Police Department. Light refreshments will be available at the meeting.
