The following is a message from Financial Services:
Minimum wage will increase from $5.15 to $6.15 on July 1, 2006. All student employees currently on the payroll with an hourly job paying less than $6.15 per hour will have their hourly rate increased automatically to $6.15. The effective date of this increase will be June 24, 2006 since that is the first day of the contingent pay period which includes July 1, 2006.
Student employees hired into new jobs on or after June 24, 2006 must be paid a minimum of $6.15 per hour.
