Due to decreased demand over the summer months, the following policies will be in effect beginning Tuesday, May 30 through Friday, August 18.
Parking Modifications:
– Permits will continue to be required from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays.
– Permits will not be required after 5 p.m. on weekdays, or anytime on weekends or when the university is officially closed.
– All current Towson University permits, including all student permits (student, Towson Run, Millennium and evening), will be valid in the following lots throughout the summer:
o Lot 6 (Visitor lot next to Ward) — NOTE: The kiosk will be closed between May 22 and August 25. Arrangements for guests may be made through Parking Services ({upark@towson.edu}) or guests may be directed to the Business Office in the Union to obtain permits.)
o Lots 7, 7a, 11, 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 24, 24a, 26
o Towsontown & Glen Garages ? all levels
– The Union Garage will be closed for renovations from June 15 through August 18.
– All other faculty/staff lots not noted above will continue to be restricted to valid faculty/staff permits only, between the hours of 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
– Reserved and restricted spaces will continue to be enforced at all times.
– All other regulations will continue to be in effect.
Shuttle Modifications:
– The Black and Gold routes will not run after Tuesday, May 23.
-Both routes will resume operation on Monday, August 28.
– HVAN services will continue to be available between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. HVAN service will not be available on the weekends. Please call 410-704-4826 (HVAN) to request service.
– Weekend HVAN service will resume on Saturday, August 26.
