The following downtimes will occur Sunday, March 19 during the Office of Technology Services’ maintenance window:
NEW! ALL TU NETWORK SERVICES SPORADICALLY UNAVAILABLE, 8 A.M.-NOON
Web services affected include:
– Internet
– Blackboard
– E-mail
– Peoplesoft
– Tiger
– Virtual Private Network (VPN)
– Pylon
– Remote Access Server (RAS)
– Citrix
This intermittent outage is necessary as OTS continues to upgrade the campus data network to provide better security and performance.
The following downtime, which was first posted in Daily Digest on Thursday, March 16, will also occur:
MOST MAJOR SERVICES UNAVAILABLE, 6 A.M.-NOON
The downtime affects faculty, staff and students and the following services:
– E-mail
– PeopleSoft
– Blackboard
– Inside.towson.edu, Students.towson.edu (timesheets, campus directories)
– Computer Science Students’ Interactive Shell
– Computer Science Oracle Database
– Alerts
– RealAudio
– Imaging
OTS will apply patches to the servers that host the above services for better performance and security.
