“Invitation to the Dance” will include Lully’s Passacalle d’Armide, Vivaldi’s La Folia and Concerto for Four Violins in D Major; as well as Concerto Armonico by Wassender and Gallo’s Trio Sonata. Pro Musica Rara specializes in music written between 1650 and 1850, which is considered Baroque and early classical. Performers play period instruments as they existed at the time the music was written. Guest artist Catherine Turocy, Baroque dancer, will join Pro Music Rara musicians.
