Leaves With a Name is an MFA Theatre Thesis performance by Barbara Lanciers that directly attacks the ideology of war while exploring the timeline of its ripple effect. The initial inspiration for Leaves With a Name sprung from the story of a grandmother’s exodus from Hungary during World War II and subsequent journey to the United States. Leaves With a Name is being made for audiences in the United States and Eastern Europe and will travel to various intimate theatre venues in both regions.
