Students who will be on campus during June 28 ? June 30, 2004 should review the following message.
The OneCard point account system will be down as a result of the campus wide re-card effort June 28 ? June 30, 2004. This outage will temporarily affect many of the functions of your OneCard. When the OneCard system is again operational on July 1, 2004, your current OneCard will no longer be valid. If you plan to use your OneCard functions prior to the distribution date of August 23, 2004, please visit the Auxiliary Services Business Office on or after July 1st located in room 118 of the University Union. The new OneCards will be issued in the University Union starting on August 23, 2004.
OneCard Dining and Retail Point Accounts
During this interruption, you will not be able to use retail or dining points for purchases except as detailed below. The preferred payment method during this period at dining and retail locations will be cash.
We realize that many OneCard account holders may prefer to use their dining points during this time. Therefore, a manual process has been developed as a method to use your dining points during the OneCard system downtime. Each register at dining service locations will be equipped with a log to record dining point transactions. Customers will be required to sign the log providing authorization to debit their dining point account when the system is again operational.
The OneCard readers at vending locations will not be operational during this system downtime.
Please note that a negative balance as a result of insufficient funds in your dining or retail point accounts will be transferred to your financial account at the Bursar?s Office.

Your new OneCard will begin providing access on Thursday, July 1, 2004. There may be a brief service interruption on Wednesday, June 30, 2004. The old OneCard will no longer work after June 30, 2004.

Administration, Enrollment Services, General Services, and 7800 York Road:
Your new OneCard will begin providing access on Thursday, July 1, 2004. Both your old and new OneCard will provide access (based on your permissions) until Friday, July 9, 2004. After July 9, 2004 only the new OneCard will provide access.
