Students Helping Honduras Soccer Tournament

Hello all Towson University friends! Interested in making a difference in your world in a fun and easy way? Students Helping Honduras is a powerful organization driven to raise funds and awareness to help the poor in Honduras pull themselves out of poverty through education and housing. To date Towson’s SHH Chapter has raised over $158,000 in only 2 years to fund the Villa Soleada Children’s home and bilingual school. On November 17 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Towson’s Students Helping Honduras organization is hosting a soccer tournament on Burdick Field! All of the proceeds go directly towards the group and their efforts to travel to Honduras this upcoming January to help build another bilingual school. Playing soccer with friends for a cause… doesn’t get much easier than that!

Sign up a team of 5 – 7 people – make sure to have a captain and a team name! Sign up prices vary depending on how early you register:
Early Registration by November 13: $35 per team
Walk-on Registration: $45 per team

SO, hurry and get your friends together to create a team and join us this upcoming Saturday! Remember, it’s for the children! We hope to see you all there! 🙂
