In response to the recent tragedy and disaster that has occurred in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, the Black Student Union and Leaders of a Beautiful Struggle are coordinating a benefit concert called TU4Haiti. We want the entire TU community to band together and to show solidarity in the Haitians pain and suffering. We already have a date on February 11th in Paws at 7PM for the concert, but to make this event a success, we need YOUR help.
We still need funds and people-power to throw the event, and any help you or your organization can provide will be helpful. There is an emergency coordinating meeting TONIGHT in the SGA Office (in the Union) at 6PM.
It is extremely important that you or your organization be present (if possible) at this meeting so that we can coordinate our efforts. Instead of throwing several individual events, we want our community to coordinate a singular campaign to help the people of Haiti a united front against their pain and suffering.
