A joint lecture by Mr. Kim Stallwood, from the Institute for Animals and Society, and Ms. Ann Gearhart, from the Snyder Foundation for Animals. Mr. Stallwood will explore the commonalities among sexism, racism and speciesism and the intersection of oppressions between them. Ms. Gearhart will outline the strong connection between human violence and animal cruelty.
*Local animal rights and social justice groups will be on hand to offer opportunities for you to become involved!
