Want to work in television news?

16News, the news department at WMJF-TV 16(On campus channel 61), is currently accepting applications for two news anchor openings. 16News is an official CNN Student Bureau and covers campus, local, and national news. We are looking for one male and one female anchor to lead our award winning newscasts next year. You must be CURRENTLY a Freshmen, Sophomore, or Junior to apply. Auditions will be held on Thursday, April 15th at 8:00 p.m. You must first fill out an application and go through an interview process. We are looking for dedicated people who are serious about working in the television news business. Prior experience is not required but is a plus.

This is a great way to begin your career in television news and many of our 16News alumni have gotten jobs on-air at major affiliate stations after graduation.
