Do you have the desire to make a difference and help others? If you do, consider becoming an Alcohol & Drug Peer Educator at the Counseling Center. Peer Educators are trained and teach others about issues related to drugs and alcohol. Meet other students, develop your public speaking and presentation skills and build your confidence and resume. Course credit and/or future paid employment as a paid Senior Peer Educator is possible.
You must be available on Friday afternoons for training and must be motivated, energetic, want to help others and improve our community.
The Counseling Center is also recruiting Body Image, Sexual Assault and Self Care/Psychological Wellness Peer Educators.
