How Can Mindfulness Meditation Help You?

Have you ever come to the end of the day, and wonder where it went? Have you ever felt overwhelmed by stress? Have you ever found yourself preoccupied with thoughts about the past, or worries about the future, and feeling like you?re missing out on your life right now? Mindfulness is a meditative practice that has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety, promote clear thinking, enhance concentration, regulate emotions, and boost creativity. Cultivating mindfulness helps us to experience our life more fully, as it happens.

The Counseling Center is offering three FREE Mindfulness Meditation workshops during FebFest. Join us in Cook Library on the following days and times: Thursday 2/2 from 3-4 pm (Room 507), Friday 2/3 9-10 am (Room 507) or Wednesday 2/8 11 am-12 pm (Room 411).
