Fun Fact
The Commission on Presidential Debates was founded in 1987 by the chairmen of the Democratic and Republican National Committees and continues to function as an aparatus of the two major parties. In 2000, the parties decided not to include Ralph Nader and Pat Buchanan in the presidential debates, even though 64% of registered voters wanted them included.
