Towson University will be closed for winter break from December 21, 2018 through January 1, 2019. Holidays will pre-populate for December 24, 25, and 26, 2018, and January 1, 2019.
The President granted an administrative leave day for all non-essential personel for December 21, 2018, and code ADMU is to be used for 8 hours on that date.
Staff, who are in departments that observe non-traditional work hours and schedules, or which perform essential functions, should discuss coverage with their supervisors.
Below is helpful information to assist you with completing your time sheet and a sample time sheet to use as a guide for the winter break.
- Days on which work is performed should indicate actual hours worked.
- Floating holidays are typically used for December 27, 28, and 31, 2018.
- If floating holidays are not available, accrued comp time, annual leave, or personal leave should be used.
- If accrued leave is not available and work is not performed, the day should be coded leave without pay.
If you have questions about completing your time sheet, please email finservehelp@towson.edu. If you have questions about your leave, please email leavebenefits@towson.edu.
^Floating holidays. If an employee does not have floating holidays to cover this time, and does not work, they must use accrued comp time, annual, personal, or leave without pay.
