The View from the Press Room Basement

Dr. Kumar, Director of White House Transitional Projects and author of Before the Oath: How George W. Bush and Barack Obama Managed a Transfer of Power (2015), is a scholar of the presidency and the media. During this event, Dr. Kumar will share highlights of her experience in the White House documenting the relationship between journalists and U.S. presidents from President Clinton to today.
