Towson University Police Department wants to remind drivers when they are leaving campus in the evening hours to make sure their headlights are on. Many times due to the bright lighting in the garages, around campus, and even in the Towson area, it can be easy to forget to turn on your vehicle headlights. Take the extra moment when starting your vehicle to make sure your vehicle headlights are also on. Remember to also use your vehicle headlights when it is raining and when a vehicle’s windshield wipers are in use. Please remember that Maryland law states that if your windshield wipers are on, your headlights must be on also. Your vehicle headlights help you be seen by other drivers and pedestrians on the roadways.
