Did you know there are now compost bins located in each of the residence halls on campus? Yellow bins labeled “COMPOST” have been placed in communal areas in each building. Students can compost ALL food scraps, napkins and approved compostable packaging from dining services, including plastics labeled #7 PLA.
Ask your CCA, RA or RLC the location of your building’s bin or email your questions to the Office of Sustainability at gogreen@towson.edu.
