Researchers Rejoice! Interlibrary Loan Now Uses NetIDs

In the past if you used Cook Library’s interlibrary loan service to get a book or article from another university, you had to create a new account in order to put in a request.

Creating new accounts are now a thing of the past! You will no longer need to remember a separate login!

From now on, you will just use your Towson NetID and password (the same login information you use for most Towson systems) to access interlibrary loan.  This change does come with some important things to know:

  • The first time you use the new login system, you will need to re-register.
  • When you first login with the new system, you will temporarily not have access to your current loans and requests or history. The delay in access to these items could be a few minutes to a few days (in the case of the weekend). We will be manually connecting your old account to your new account as they are created.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact the interlibrary loan staff at ill@towson.edu or 4-3292.
