A lot has happened at Albert S. Cook Library over the summer and today we’re beginning a series of posts about what’s new.
First, we want to tell you about our new course reserves system.
If you’re a faculty member and you’ve never used course reserves or you haven’t used it in a while, you should try it out:
- This system makes it easier than ever for faculty to put items on physical and electronic reserves for their courses. Faculty can either fill out a request form or import items from previous courses.
- There are lots of different types of items faculty can put on reserve. For a list, visit our reserves website.
- If you use our reserves system, we assume the burden of copyright compliance so you don’t have to worry about violations
- Student access is easier than ever. Students can see what’s on reserve right in Blackboard. There’s no more coming to the library and flipping through paper to find physical reserves.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us at reserves@towson.edu or 4-2456.
