Students, faculty and staff members are strongly encouraged to register their accessibility/handicap placard or license plates with Parking & Transportation Services. Registering a hangtag or license plate informs university staff that the vehicle is registered to a driver who possesses the valid credentials to park in an accessible/handicap restricted spaces. The accessibility/handicap placard must be registered in the name of the person utilizing the plate/placard. You are not permitted to register or use another person’s accessibility/handicap placard or plate. If registered, this will help reduce the likelihood of being cited should you inadvertently fail to hang the placard.
