Beginning in mid-August and running through early October 2018, Parking & Transportation Services will operate a pilot program for a new & exciting service that tracks the number of open spaces available in student “Core” areas of the Towsontown Garage. In order to help ensure the accuracy of the counters, it was necessary to eliminate a small number of parking spaces in a few locations in the garage. Signs located on Union Ave near each entrance will provide students with the number of available spaces. This will allow drivers to make an informed decision on whether spaces are available or if they should go directly to the Overflow lots located near the stadium or in designated areas of the West Village garage.
The department will gather data and feedback throughout the trial period. Students are encouraged to send an email to UPARK@towson.edu with their feedback.
As always, please remember a valid permit is required to park on campus Monday through Thursday from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm and Fridays from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. Please carefully read all signage in the area before parking your vehicle.
