Title: INTEGRATION OF STORAGE SYSTEM FOR BARE MACHINE COMPUTING

Dissertation chair: Dr. Ramesh Karne, rkarne@towson.edu, 410-704-3955

Abstract: The dissertation focused on studying integration issues in bare machine computing applications. Initially, a RAID architecture was integrated with the existing bare PC Web server. ASQLite database that runs on a bare PC was integrated that uses FAT32 file system and the Web server. It is shown that the bare machine computing architecture allows to integrate other components with ease, however poses numerous challenges in architecture enhancements, design and implementation. The deployment of this requires a thorough understanding of internals of a bare machine and its application development process. This thesis provides a foundation for developing complex Web applications based on bare machine computing paradigm
