Interdisciplinary Approaches to Media Studies, Kwangmi Kim, Department of Mass Communication
Two research projects will be presented: One is about “Social TV: What Do We Do During TV viewing,” and the other is about the representation of the two Koreas’ leaders in major international newspapers. This presentation will focus on alternative approaches to media studies by highlighting data-mining and computer-assisted data reading and analysis – instead of traditional content analysis.
