Leftover pizza? Groceries left in the car while you run errands? Chicken left out to thaw? Learn some basic food-safety tips to answer the question: should you eat that? Don’t eat perishable food that has been out of the refrigerator for more than two hours. Keep hot foods hot (at or above 140 degrees Fahrenheit) and cold foods cold (at or below 40 degrees Fahrenheit).
