Parking & Transportation Services recently introduced Spin at TU Bike Share. Bikes are conveniently located in bike racks all over campus and are available for short-term rental through the Spin App. Renting a bike is as easy as following these steps:
- Download the Spin app through the App Store or Google Play. Be sure to use your Towson.edu email address, as TU students, faculty and staff receive a discount. 30 minute ride for $0.50, $14 for one month of unlimited 30 minute rides, $29 for 3 months of unlimited 30 minute rides or $49 for a year of unlimited 30 minute rides.
- Find the closest bike to you through the app.
- Scan the QR code on the back fender of the bike to unlock it.
- Ride the bike to your destination on campus.
- Park the bike at a bike rack or designated “Bike Docking Area” and pull the lever down to lock the bike and end your ride. It’s that simple!
