It’s time to get hype for RecycleMania! With the return of students, faculty and staff, it is important to remember how and where to properly recycle in order to keep our campus beautiful, clean and competitive. So be sure to compost your food scraps at all dining locations and place your mixed recyclables into any of the over 8000 containers found throughout campus.
Top recyclable items in order are: bottles, cans, plastic cups, clean paper and clean cardboard
Top compostable items in order are: food scraps, napkins, pizza boxes, #7 PLA bioplastic and certified compostable Starbucks cup.
Every spring term, the university competes nationally with other colleges and universities to raise awareness around the importance of proper composting, recycling and waste minimization. This eight-week long competition runs from February 5 through the end of March.

- Electronics recycling – March 23 and 24, 2018
