Faculty
- Get support: contact the OTS Faculty/Staff Help Center at 410-704-5151, or submit an online service request through TechHelp.
- Report an issue or get support for Classroom Technology by calling x4-TECH, (410-704-8324).
- Visit the OTS Faculty Orientation for a quick list of self-help guides and services, including how to get started at TU with technology in the classroom and in your office.
- See the OTS Technology Orientation to access a basic overview of technologies including NetIDs, Duo Multi-Factor Authentication, TechHelp, connecting and collaborating remotely, and how to protect the campus by practicing safe computing. Staff can also use this resource as a refresher.
- See available technology in conference and classrooms in the Virtual Tour.
Students
- Get support: call 410-704-5151, visit one of the walk-up locations, or start a live chat with SCS staff on SCS webpages.
- Visit Student Computing Services (SCS) for info on technology support at SCS Service Desks, equipment loans for projects, studios and multimedia support, computer lab availability, and help with ResNet issues.
- Bookmark TechOverture, which provides a list of technology resources. Get information on using NetIDs, accessing email, registration and records, logging into courses in Blackboard, storing files, accessing Wi-Fi, using OneCard and more technology topics important to student life at TU.
All Campus
- Get Microsoft Office apps including Word, Excel and others for free, as long as you are at TU, through Office 365.
- Need software? See what is available to the campus and how to get it in the Software Inventory.
- Access Blackboard support 24/7 at blackboard.towson.edu. If they can’t help, the TU Blackboard team will take over your case.
- Get free group or customized technology training on services like Blackboard, WordPress, OneDrive through OTS Training.
- Access many campus applications & network files from anywhere using the newly updated Virtual Workspace at vw.towson.edu.
- Protect the campus. Forward all suspicious emails received in your TU email account to OTS’ Office of Information Security at phishing@towson.edu.
