Office of the General Counsel Welcomes New Lawyer

Ashley Hoover will be joining the Office of the General Counsel as the new Associate General Counsel on December 13, 2017. She will be replacing Barbara English, who retired on October 31. Ashley is coming from Johns Hopkins University where she served as Senior Contracts Associate in the University Research Administration Office. Prior to her time at Hopkins, she spent five years in private practice focusing on real estate and business transactions. She earned her B.A. in 2005 from McDaniel College and her J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2009. Ashley will serve as the University’s primary contact for questions related to intellectual property, contracts, sponsored research, and real estate.
