COE Lunch and Learn: The Danger of a Single Story

The College of Education’s Diversity Committee is hosting a Lunch and Learn on Monday, November 13, 2017 from 12:00-1:15pm in the Education Innovation Lab (Hawkins Hall 110). This semester’s Lunch and Learn examines Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s TED Talk entitled “The Danger of a Single Story.” The focus of this workshop is to address and confront single story narratives within our classrooms, departments, and the university at-large. This event is open to all faculty, staff, and students. Coffee and refreshments will be provided.
