Investigative journalist Stephen Janis will be joined by his reporting partner Taya Graham from The Real News Network to discuss the problematic history of policing in Baltimore as the city struggles with another record year of violence.
Janis has written extensively about unsolved murders, violent crime, and the intricacies of policing with several retired homicide detectives. He is the author of Why Do We Kill: The Pathology of Murder in Baltimore, You Can’t Stop Murder: Truths About Policing in Baltimore and Beyond, and, most recently, The Book of Cop: A Testament to Policing That Works.
