OTS Training Tip of the Week

Finding Your Recent Edits in OneNote

If you are managing multiple notebooks, it may be difficult remembering where your most recent notes may be located. Here are a couple of ways to find what you are looking for:

  • Using the Search box (CTRL+E) – Type in any keyword in the Search box and a list of notes containing that text will populate. If you have multiple notebooks open, OneNote will search through all of them.
  • Recent Edits – Click on the History tab in the ribbon and then click on the Recent Edits icon. Select the desired time range from the dropdown menu. A Search Results section will appear where you can select a specific notebook or all notebooks. Sorting by date, section, title and author is also an option.

Enjoy our tip of the week? Send us suggestions at training@towson.edu!
