Today’s Predictions for Tomorrow’s Internet

Technology is advancing at a rapid pace. We collaborate with classmates and coworkers in the cloud, work remotely, and can access TU resources from just about anywhere. In our personal lives, we use new technologies like smart watches and smart home devices like the Amazon Echo and Google Home.

Week 3: Today’s Predictions for Tomorrow’s Internet

This week’s National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM) theme reminds us that we are connected more to our devices and the internet than ever before. It is important to remember that your personal data is the fuel that makes smart devices work. While there are tremendous benefits of massive interconnectivity, it is critical to understand how to use cutting-edge technology in safe and secure ways. No one knows what tomorrow’s internet is going to be, but it’s up to us to keep up with its evolution.
