Book Discussion: Not in this Family: Gays and the Meaning of Kinship in Postwar North America

LaShonda Mims, Lecturer in the History Department, will provide background on this book by Heather Murray, which examines the evolving relationships between lesbians and gay men and their parents in post-war America. Then Librarian Carissa Tomlinson will lead a discussion of the book. Light refreshments will be served.
