Football Parking

Parking & Transportation Services would like to notify the campus community about game day parking as we get ready for the upcoming Football season.

  • All lots around the stadium (13, 14, 19, 20, 21 & 21a) will close six hours before the game time. The Interior of lot 21 will close evening before. For homecoming, all lots will close the evening before. Lots will re-open four hours prior to game time for fan parking. Unauthorized vehicles remaining in the area are subject to citations and towing at the owner’s expense. Game day parking permits will be required to park in Lots 19, 20 and 21.
  • Lots 13, 14 and all core campus garages and non-residential lots will be available for General Parking four hours prior to game time. No permit is required to park in these areas. Parking will be provided on a first come first serve basis. Once the general parking lots 13 & 14 near the stadium fill, general parkers will be redirected to the Union Garage.
  • Tents: Due to safety concerns, no tents are allowed in Lot 14. Tents are permitted in other areas as outlined in the tailgating policies. Tents must be secured with weighting system (no stakes) and can’t be placed in a parking space or block traffic flow in drive lanes. Tailgating will be allowed in designated areas only and must be in accordance with established tailgating policies.  No tailgating is permitted in any garages.
  • Paratransit service for those with mobility issues, will be provided 4 hours prior to game time through 1 hour after the game ends. No other game day shuttles will be provided. Gold route shuttles will operate on normal schedules. No gold route service will be provided to the Lot 14 shuttle stop, 4 hours prior to game time through 1 hour after the game ends.  Service for the stadium area will only be available from the Towson Center/Lot 21 bus slip.
