OTS Training Tip of the Week
Recovering a Microsoft Office File
It happens to all of us: power failure, computer crashing or forgetting to save. So, do we lose all of our work and start all over again? Thankfully, no. Try these steps out the next time disaster strikes.
- Open your desired Microsoft Office program (Excel, Word or PowerPoint).
- Click the File tab.
- In the Open section, scroll down.
- At the bottom of the screen, click the Recover Unsaved Documents button.
- Select the most recent file and click Open.
- You have recovered your file.
- Save your work.
