Quickly Change Your Voicemail Greeting for Vacation
Did you know you can change your voicemail greeting without deleting your standard greeting? Here’s how you can change your greeting before you head out for that summer vacation:
- Pick up your handset or press the SPEAKER button for hands free.
- Press the messages button.
- When prompted, enter your PIN followed by #.
- Press 8 for set-up options and then press 4 to change a greeting.
- To edit other greetings, press 3.
- Press 3 again to select the Alternate greeting.
- Press 1 to record your greeting.
- Begin recording at the tone. Please refer to commands below for help after recording the greeting:
- # – when you have finished recording
- 1 – To re-record
- 2 – To use the system greeting
- 3 – To turn on the alternate greeting
- * – To exit
Once you have finished setting your alternate greeting, you may hang up.
