Summer casual dress in affect for Towson employees beginning Tuesday, May 30 and ending the first day of the fall 2017 classes, Monday, August 28. Offices choosing to adopt this practice should establish guidelines for staff during special internal or external activities or events at which employees represent the university.
Suggested business casual attire includes collared shirts without ties, dress slacks or khakis and golf shirts for men; dress slacks and casual shirts for women. Athletic shoes, shower flip flops, athletic pants, shorts or shirts, jeans or tee shirts are inappropriate office wear.
The University Store will extend its annual Spring Sale for Faculty and Staff on TU business casual apparel until June 30. Faculty and staff will also be extended 20% off of all regularly priced clothing and giftware. There will also be selected clothing and gifts on sale, which will be 30% – 60% off, as marked thru June 30.
