To promote seatbelt awareness and enhance the safety of the campus community, the Towson University Police Department is conducting a seatbelt checkpoint today, May 30, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Towsontown Garage. Police officers will check seatbelt usage by the occupants of all vehicles entering the checkpoint. Officers will issue citations for any violations observed.
All motor vehicles entering and exiting the parking garage should be alert and obey the traffic commands given by police officers.
