The Towson University Police Department is joining with other law enforcement agencies throughout Maryland to crack down on speeders and impaired, distracted or aggressive drivers. Throughout the month of May, traffic safety enforcement operations will be in effect on campus as part of a statewide effort called Toward Zero Deaths, which is working toward the state’s goal of zero traffic fatalities. From Friday, May 12, 2017 to Sunday, May 21, 2017, the TUPD will conduct aggressive driving and speed enforcement efforts around the campus as part of the initiative.
